Meet Erica Harding, Supply Chain Specialist at Hyper Solutions

Today, we’re excited to introduce Erica Harding, our dedicated Supply Chain Specialist who joined us in January. In just 10 months, Erica has added fresh insights and energy to our team, motivated by her commitment to achieving impactful, tangible results in the supply chain industry.

A Career Built on Purpose and Stability

For Erica, the appeal of a career in supply chain lies in its steady demand and meaningful impact. “What motivated me to pursue my current career path was the promise of job security!” she explains. “Careers in supply chain will always be a constant in today’s growing global economy. Whether it’s commerce or information data, I love being able to work toward a goal that creates tangible results.” Erica has quickly become an integral part of the Hyper team, where she’s further developed her time management and multitasking skills to drive efficiency, even on the busiest days.

What Sets Hyper Solutions Apart

When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Erica highlights the people and purpose driving her work. “The team is passionate about what we do, the people are genuine, and the work is meaningful,” she shares. Working alongside colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experience levels has fostered an environment where Erica feels empowered to ask questions, make decisions, and contribute best practices to improve results.

Transitioning from a previous role where she independently managed all aspects of purchasing and supply chain, Erica has embraced the collaborative culture at Hyper Solutions. “In my last role, I was a one-woman show—everything fell on my shoulders. I’m used to being the jack of all trades,” she says. “But in this role, I have a team to collaborate with, which is both challenging and refreshing. I can fine-tune my strengths and rely on my teammates for areas where I may have questions or need support.”

Life Beyond Work

Outside of her career, Erica enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking, and attending concerts—she’s a lifelong music enthusiast, with a Beyoncé concert as a standout experience. She also loves teaching and participating in Zumba Fitness classes. Staying active and trying new recipes keeps her energized and ready to keep up with her spirited five-year-old son, Jordan.

Staying Balanced and Growing

Erica’s one-on-one meetings with her manager have been particularly impactful. “During our meetings, she asks about my vision for myself, what motivates me, and what she can do to help me excel. I’ve never had a manager ask me those things or make me feel empowered to want more for myself,” Erica notes, appreciating the support she receives.

Balancing work and personal life is key for Erica. “Honestly, I love what I do and enjoy working for Hyper. When my husband and son get home, they’ll let me know it’s time to stop working,” she says with a smile. “I know that all the work can’t be done in one day, but meeting small goals daily will get me closer to completing the bigger goal at hand.”

Looking Ahead

Looking forward, Erica dreams of traveling to Africa—a place she’d love to explore for its rich history, diverse cultures, and stunning landscapes. High on her bucket list is a hot air balloon ride over South Africa’s breathtaking views. If she could master any skill instantly, it would be speaking multiple languages—a valuable way to connect with the world.
