Meet Emily Hill, Supply Chain Manager at Hyper Solutions

We are excited to highlight Emily Hill, our talented Supply Chain Manager, who joined the Hyper family in March 2023. Emily has fully embraced our innovative approach to manufacturing and thrives in an environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.

Emily’s Career Journey

Emily’s journey in supply chain management began at Siemens Wind Energy, where she worked as a Purchasing Manager and learned the fundamentals of the industry. From there, she moved on to GE (now ABB), taking on various roles that stretched her expertise in areas such as work scheduling and materials management. Throughout her career, she has continued to grow and step into leadership positions, fueled by her commitment to both personal and professional development.

A Family Legacy in Electrical Distribution

Emily’s connection to the world of electrical distribution runs deep. Her grandfather, a WWII POW, later worked at GE, and her father began his career as an electrician on the very day Emily was born. This family legacy inspired her to pursue a career where she could make her own mark in the industry.

Balancing Work and Life

As a small-town Iowa native, Emily values the flexibility that Hyper Solutions’ remote work environment provides. This balance allows her to manage her thriving career while also being a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, and sister. Emily and her husband are proud parents to two daughters, Kylee (15) and Marlee (11), both of whom share a love for sports.

Coaching and Empowering the Next Generation

A former Division I swimmer at Iowa State, Emily continues to fuel her passion for sports by coaching her local high school swim team each fall. With the full support of Hyper Solutions, Emily inspires young athletes to pursue their dreams and never stop setting new goals.

“I’m still setting goals, succeeding as a woman in business, and enjoying my hobby of coaching,” Emily shares. Her dedication to empowering the next generation of leaders, both in sports and business, is a testament to her commitment to growth and mentorship.
