Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Project Manager to join our team at Hyper Solutions. You will serve as a primary liaison between Account Executives, clients, and the Applications Engineering and Solutions Design teams to develop and deliver mission-critical solutions. This role requires expertise in project management and sales within the electrical industry, with a focus on data center power infrastructure.
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Schedule: Monday through Friday – Full-time hybrid work schedule
Requirements:
- Utilize Hyper Solutions’ methodologies and systems to accurately forecast project needs and timelines, ensuring on-time delivery of proposals.
- Manage solution delivery details from initiation to execution, including coordination with suppliers and logistical partners.
- Track project progress, monitor risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful and timely execution.
- Drive continuous improvement in project execution by identifying inefficiencies and proposing process enhancements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a seamless experience from project inception to completion.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in project management and sales within the electrical industry, specifically data center power infrastructure, including Switchboards, Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Remote Power Panels (RPPs), and transformers.
- Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or relevant certifications in the electrical field and/or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience in electrical construction, particularly in commercial design-build and plan/specification projects, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in project management software and CRM tools.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and project oversight.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to foster and maintain relationships.

Other Qualifications:
- Must be able to work extended long hours if workload requires to get work done. May be asked to work weekends and Holidays.
- This position requires flexibility due to the different time zones and locations of partners.
