Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team at Hyper Solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring product quality meets our customers’ expectations within a contract manufacturing environment. You will define production quality standards, develop product requirement rules, and implement processes to uphold Hyper Solutions’ commitment to quality and reliability.

Location: Henrico, Virginia
Schedule: Monday through Friday – Full-time hybrid work schedule

Requirements:

• Determine key quality compliance factors for manufacturing partners.
• Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products, and production equipment.
• Make sure processes adhere to quality standards defined by Hyper Solutions.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
• Assess quality systems maturity level for our manufacturing partners and support improvement activities.
• Lead the Customer Quality Management Process which include Quality Complaint Management (CQM), Return of Material Approval (RMA), etc.
• Collect and analyze data to keep Quality Key Performance Indicators up to date.
• Create quality inspection standards and procedures, forms, and reports.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Engineering, Business Management, Computer Science, or equivalent business discipline.
• Minimum of five years (5+) of related experience inclusive of managing third party quality assurance.
• Expertise with ERP systems a must. NetSuite experience a plus.
• Experience in leading continuous improvement activities utilizing Lean and 5S methodologies where appropriate.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Electrical Testing Knowledge / Experience.
• Experience on Contract Manufacturing Quality Assurance.

Other Qualifications:

• Must be able to work extended long hours if workload requires to get work done.  May be asked to work weekends and Holidays.
• This position requires flexibility due to the different time zones and locations of partners.
