Summary
We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process at Hyper Solutions. You will oversee production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics coordination to ensure seamless product delivery. This role is critical in aligning demand forecasts with operational goals while managing work orders, sales orders, and shipping logistics to support customer site requirements.
Location: Henrico, Virginia
Schedule: Monday through Friday – Full-time hybrid work schedule
Requirements:
- Lead and manage the SIOP process, ensuring alignment between production schedules, demand forecasts, and inventory targets.
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to optimize capacity, material availability, and on-time delivery.
- Manage and execute work order, sales order, and purchase order transactions to ensure accurate fulfillment and shipping.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy, schedule adherence, and logistics efficiency.
- Provide leadership by setting clear performance expectations, reviewing progress, and addressing performance challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).5+ years of experience in SIOP, production scheduling, logistics, or supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred) and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).Strong leadership and facilitation skills, with experience managing cross-functional SIOP and logistics processes.
- Certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep knowledge of inventory management, capacity planning, shipping, and logistics operations.

Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

Other Qualifications:
- Must be able to work extended long hours if workload requires to get work done. May be asked to work weekends and Holidays.
- This position requires flexibility due to the different time zones and locations of partners.
